Visual Studio - Typescript ES5-konfiguration

Jag vill rikta in mig på ES5 så jag ställer in det i min Visual Studio-projektfil:

    <TypeScriptTarget>ES5</TypeScriptTarget>
    <TypeScriptIncludeComments>false</TypeScriptIncludeComments>
    <TypeScriptSourceMap>false</TypeScriptSourceMap>
    <TypeScriptModuleKind>AMD</TypeScriptModuleKind> 
 </PropertyGroup>

Men nu får jag error MSB6006: "tsc.exe" avslutades med kod 1. Med ES3 får jag inte felet.

Använd standard tsconfig.json-fil i projektets filträd (VS upptäcker dem). Förresten, på samma sätt använd för npm-konfigurationsfilen package.json.
